Jaunais mēness (“New Moon”) from the piano cycle “Pastorāles” performed by pianist Dzintra Erliha on her solo recital concert program “The Stars and the Earth” at the Salle Cortot in Paris, France at 20:00.  The concert, dedicated to the memory of Latvian composer Lūcija Garūta (1902-1977), will celebrate the release of Dzintra Erliha’s album “Serena” (PROMO CLASSICS). The album  will include Dace Aperāne’s complete piano cycle “Pastorales”, dedicated to Ms. Erliha.

Gaismēnas (“Shadows of Light”) piano cycle world premiere performed by pianist Diāna Zandberga for the concert Dzīvā gaisma (“Vibrant Light”) with light and video projections by Elīna Brese at the Great Hall of the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music in Riga, Latvia at 18:00. Gaismēnas includes citations from J. S. Bach’s French Suite no. 3 in B minor (Menuet and Trio) and is dedicated to Diāna Zandberga.
